• Phil Burke

  Director

  Phil is a Contracts professional with over 30 years experience gained almost exclusively in the upstream oil and gas industry. As a professional Quantity Surveyor he entered the industry in the early 1980’s when the North Sea was experiencing a rapid period of expansion. Now, following 30 years experience, Phil works with clients as a Senior Contracts Specialist and advisor throughout all stages of project development from contract strategy through the tender and contract formulation phase and on to execution and closeout.

• Andrew Hamilton

  Systems Director

  Andrew has worked in the Oil and Gas Industry for 30 years. He specialises in the design, development and support of Application Software. As a former director of RHi he was responsible for the design of their industry leading range of software, and for directing the implementation of these products through a significant growth period for that company. He has worked on many major projects worldwide for major Oil and Gas Operators including Shell, BP, Chevron and Exxon. In recent years he has a lot of experience in projects using unit rates contracts and has particular expertise in linking CAD models such as those produced by PDMS with cost databases.

   

  Prior to working for RHi Andrew was a Principal Surveyor for Lloyd’s Register where he was instrumental building a Quality Management System  for software development which achieved ISO 9001 certification, and he also did this for RHi .

   

  Andrew is a Charted Engineer and a Member of the British Computer Society.

   

• Chris Allen

  Director

  Chris has over 20 years experience in Engineering and Construction Resourcing, the past 12 years being exclusively in the Oil and Gas sector with a special emphasis in the Quantity Surveying, Contracts, Project Controls and PSCM disciplines. He has resourced personnel for many major Upstream and Downstream projects including a significant number in harsh environments. Chris has an extensive knowledge of the industries’ professional labour market having established many successful and long-standing business relationships within the Oil and Gas community

• Peter Hartley

  Director

  Peter  has over 35 years experience in the oil and gas industry, of which 30 years were spent with Rider Hunt International rising to director and equity partner. He was instrumental in developing the business into an international Quantity Surveying company with focus on the oil and gas industry prior to its takeover by Amec in 2009. As a director level Contracts Consultant, Peter currently advises BP on contracting strategies for the development of major projects on a global basis.  Peter has detailed experience in all aspects of contracts and commercial management of oil and gas projects at the highest level. He has worked with most of the global oil and gas operators including BP, Shell Anadarko, Chevron, Woodside Petroleum and ConocoPhillips. Peter has extensive experience through all phases of projects from initial viability estimating and contract strategy through to appearing as an Expert Witness in international arbitrations.
